Boxing Manitoba

Purpose: Boxing Manitoba is committed to providing an environment in which all Boxing Manitoba Members are treated with respect and characterized by the value of fairness, integrity and open communication. Membership in Boxing Manitoba, as well as participation in its activities, brings with it many benefits and privileges. At the same time, members and participants are expected to fulfill certain responsibilities and obligations including, but not limited to, complying with the policies, bylaws, rules and regulations and Code of Conduct and Ethics of Boxing Manitoba...
Purpose: Boxing Manitoba is committed to providing an environment in which all members are treated with respect. Irresponsible behavior by members can result in severe damage to the sport and to the support of Boxing Manitoba. Conduct that violates these values may be subject to sanctions pursuant to Boxing Manitoba’s Discipline and Complaints Policy. Since sanctions may be applied, it is only fair to provide Boxing Manitoba Members with some mechanism to appeal what may appear to be unfair treatment. The purpose of this Appeal Policy is to enable appeals within Boxing Manitoba to be dealt with fairly, expeditiously and affordably.
Purpose: The Organization will function as a Not-For-Profit organization and all fundraising, fees, sponsorship, and grants will be used for the on-going development of the sport. The purpose of this Policy is to guide the financial management practices of the Organization.
Purpose: Boxing Manitoba supports the principles of Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) and is committed to the techniques of negotiation, facilitation, mediation and arbitration as effective ways to resolve disputes with and among members, and to avoid the uncertainty, costs and other negative effects associated with litigation...
Purpose: The purpose of this policy is to describe how members of BOXING MANITOBA will conduct themselves in matters relating to conflicts of interest, and to clarify how the BOXING MANITOBA will make decisions in situations where conflicts of interest may exist.
Purpose: Privacy of personal information is governed by the Personal Information Protection Act (“PIPA”). This information provided describes the way that Boxing Manitoba collects, uses, retains, safeguards, discloses and disposes of personal information, and states Boxing Manitoba’s commitment to collecting, using and disclosing personal information responsibly. This information is based on the standards required by PIPA and Boxing Manitoba’s interpretation of these responsibilities.
All youth athletes, adult athletes, parents, coaches, trainers and officials participating in Boxing Manitoba activities are required to review the Canadian Guideline on Concussion in Sport Pre-season Concussion Education Sheet prior to the first practice of the season. In addition to reviewing information on concussion, it is also important that all sport stakeholders have a clear understanding of the BOXING MANITOBA CONCUSSION PROTOCOL.
Purpose: The purpose of this policy is to ensure the protection of Confidential Information that is proprietary to Boxing Manitoba by making all Boxing Manitoba Members aware that there is an expectation to act at all times appropriately and consistently with this policy.
